Product details
A pneumatic 5/2 Hand Draw Valve is a type of directional control valve used in pneumatic systems. 5/2 refers to its configuration: it has five ports (P: pressure inlet, A and B: working ports, R and S: exhaust ports) and two positions. It's used to control the direction of air flow to a double-acting cylinder or actuator. The term "Hand Draw" (or sometimes "Hand Lever") indicates the actuation method: the valve is shifted manually by an operator physically pulling or pushing a lever or handle . When the lever is in one position, air flows from P to A (and B exhausts to S/R), causing the cylinder to extend. When the lever is moved to the second position, air flows from P to B (and A exhausts), causing the cylinder to retract. In summary, it's a manually operated valve that changes the direction of air flow to cycle a pneumatic actuator.
