SIDE THREAD TEE (CPD)

A Pneumatic Side Thread Tee (CPD) is a type of push-to-connect fitting designed for connecting three pneumatic tubes in a T-shape configuration, with an added feature of a male thread on one of the side ports. Key Features & Function Tee Configuration: It allows for branching, combining, or distributing airflow in three different directions. Push-to-Connect: Two of the ports are designed for quick and easy insertion and secure locking of pneumatic tubing (often referred to as the "CP" part of the designation). Side Thread: The third port, usually on the side of the 'T', has a male pipe thread (the "D" part, often referencing the thread) that allows the fitting to be directly screwed into a valve, manifold, or an equipment port. Application: It is commonly used to tap into an existing air line and provide a threaded connection for a pressure gauge, sensor, or another component that needs to be mounted directly onto the air line.
