UNEQUAL-TEE (CPGT)

The Pneumatic Unequal-TEE CPGT (or simply Unequal Union Tee) is a type of pneumatic fitting used to branch or divide an air line into two separate paths, where at least one of the three ports connects to a tube of a different diameter than the others. The letter code CPGT (or similar PGT) generally indicates a Push-to-Connect (Push-Fit) design, which allows for fast, tool-free installation and removal of pneumatic tubing (typically Nylon or Polyurethane). Key Features and Function Three-Way Connector: It has a T-shape with three ports for joining three separate tubes. Unequal Diameters: The defining feature is that the outer diameter (OD) of the tube connected to the branch (the perpendicular port) is smaller or larger than the OD of the tubes connected to the main run. A common sizing might be written as 10-10-6 mm, meaning the two straight-line ports are 10mm, and the branch port is 6mm. Function: It is used to create a reducing or increasing branch line, allowing a main air line to supply smaller (or larger) components, such as a different-sized cylinder or a pneumatic tool with a lower flow requirement.
